Bald after reading month!

I am so excited to be here at Muir Elementary!  I love being an educator and learning new things every day!

I lived in Utah until I was 7, then I lived in Westerville, Ohio through high school. I am the oldest of four children I have a younger brother and two younger sisters. My family still lives in Westerville, Ohio so I don't get to see them very often. I went to the Philippines for two years on an LDS Mission and love the people there. I attended Brigham Young University- Idaho where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I taught at Sand Springs Elementary for ten years in grades four and six. I was an assistant principal at Lincoln Elementary for three years and then at Muir and Bountiful before becoming the Principal here at Muir.  I am married and have three kids, two daughters and a son. I enjoy reading, golfing, soccer, and spending time with my family. My favorite food is chicken and rice I love being a teacher and having fun while teaching. I am a huge Survivor T.V. Show fan and had Challenges in the classroom on most Fridays. I wanted to become a teacher since the 5th grade. I had Mr. Mazzon in 5th grade and he brought learning to life for me and ever since that is what I have wanted to do. And so far I love doing it!

I am a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan! I am very particular about watching their games and have been known to get a little rowdy when they play. My grandpa was a professor there so I grew up watching them play! By the end of the year I have many students following and cheering for the scarlet and grey! GO BUCKS!
I love Oreo's. In fact I have found the perfect way to eat an Oreo. Here it is just in case you want to try it. Take a fork and put it into the cream center of the cookie them dunk it in milk and enjoy. This allows all of the cookie to get put in the milk and you don't get any of the black cookie crumbs on your fingers. It's perfect!
